This page lists the principal sensors suitable for Farringdon Data Logging Systems.

Temperature:

Water or Oil.  Farringdon Data Loggers are designed to use Bosch or equivalent fluid NTC temperature sensors. These are supplied together with the appropriate connector.  The sensors are two terminal devices that do not rely on a ground connection to the body of the sensor and therefore give more accurate reading compared with those relying on uncertain earth returns.  The thread size is M12 x 1.5.

Pressure:

Oil or Fuel 0 to 10 bar (0 to 150 psi).  Farringdon supplies semiconductor pressure sensors which are both small and reliable.  These are active sensors that require a +5 volt supply - this is available from the data logger.  The thread size is 3/8 UNF  this is dash 3 size and therefore is easy to connect into existing oil or fuel lines.

Brake Pressure 0 to 160 bar (0 to 2400 psi).  Farringdon is able to provide these sensors.  They can be connected directly to any User Channel.  Thread size is 3/8 UNF Dash 3 and therefore can be connected directly into a brake line.
