The  Farringdon SWIS10/20 Steering Wheel Instrument Systems provide all the main instrumentation for a competition car in a single ergonomic enclosure integrated into a steering wheel.  The system consists of the steering wheel and a small control box.  The steering wheel is connected by a short curly cable to a chassis mounted socket.  This socket, all sensors and 12 volt power are connected to a single 25 or 44  way sealed connector on the control box.

There are two models of the SWIS10, the SWIS10-1and the SWIS10-2.  The dash 1 model provides intruments only and the dash 2 includes a sophisticatd Lap Timer. The SWIS20 includes the FD20 SD Card Data Logger and is available with the Performance Monitor Option (PMO). See the page on Data Logging for more details.

Various steering wheels can be provided.  The Momo range starts with the small 250 mm version with a flat bottom.  Other sizes are 260 mm round, 270 mm flat bottom, 280 mm round, 320 mm round and slightly dished and 340 mm round and slightly dished.  The 320 and 340 mm versions are for touring cars primarily.
